 June 2 - Overknight with the Knights - Deadline May 1

Let's go to a ballgame!!!  We have the opportunity, once again, to go to a Charlotte Knights ballgame and sleep on the field after!  Game is on Friday, June 2nd.  First pitch starts at 7:04pm with gates opening at 6:00pm. All scouts staying overnight will enjoy a souvenir Knights patch, sleepover after the game and fireworks show and a movie on the Truist Field!  You can opt to just join us at the game or you can spend the night!  For those staying overnight, we head to our cars after the game and grab our overnight gear (tent, sleeping bag and pillow) and re-enter the stadium when they have it emptied out. June 14-17 - Resident Summer Camp - Deadline May 22

Join us for Summer Camp at Camp Raven Knob in Mt Airy, NC!!  2023 Cub Scout Resident Camp is June 14th through June 17th!  The resident camp fee is $180 for cub scouts. The camp fee includes a camp patch and t-shirt for each Scout. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for Scouts who leave camp early. The adult camp fee is $85 which includes a patch and T-shirt. First payment of $50 each is due April 10th.  Remainder of payment for both cub scout and adult is due May 15th. All payments are non-refundable per camp policies.  A parent is encouraged to attend but not required as long as we have enough leaders.  All adults must complete Youth Protection Training if they plan to attend. June 12-16 - York District Day Camp - Deadline June 4

Check-in: June 11 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at Bethelwoods. This check-in is for medical form turn-in, t-shirt pick-up, and a swim test. Attendance for check-in is mandatory for your scout to participate throughout the week.

Time: Daily from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Sessions will run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm)

Where: Bethelwoods (922 W Mount Gallant Road, York, SC  29745)

Who: All Cub Scouts in the York District who are rising 1st through 5th graders (no rising lions) **PLEASE NOTE** Rising First Graders (current Lions) will need an adult partner the entire duration of camp. Sign up for your Cub's rank as of Fall 2023.

Cost: $150

Cub Scouts...START YOUR ENGINES! Join us for a week of great Scout fun with an "Off to The Races" twist. Cub Scouts will enjoy games, outdoor activities, arts, crafts, songs, and so much more!

Volunteer Discount: Campers with a parent/grandparent/aunt/uncle volunteering ALL 5 DAYS of camp will receive a 20% discount for their scout if registered by April 30th. The full price will need to be paid up front when you register your scout and you will be reimbursed the difference at the end of camp. Discount is only valid for one scout per volunteer.

Each Cub Scout and Volunteer will receive 1 free camp t-shirt with their registration. Additional shirts may be purchased for $10 each. Lunch will NOT be provided each day. All campers should come prepared with their own lunch every day of camp. Parents of all campers must attend one of the two parent orientation sessions (dates TBD) prior to bringing your Scout to camp. You will receive their camp gear at this meeting as well as your camp guide.

May 12-14 - Spring Campout - Deadline May 1

It's time to get excited about our spring campout!   This year we are headed to Albemarle, NC to campout in Morrow Mountain State Park. Join us Friday, May 12 to set up camp if you like.  Plan to eat dinner before you arrive.  We will have a Cracker Barrell (snack time) that night. Fun activities will begin early Saturday morning with hiking and canoeing, followed by afternoon of junior ranger program!  We close camp after breakfast on Sunday morning.
